The youngest of seven noble children, Celestyn was prepared for a life of clerical work as a subordinate to his eldest brother, heir to the lordship of House Stasiak. This changed when he met a young woman from outside Heltoon, Salome, who seemed strangely determined to court him as well as fight the path that had been set in stone for him by his family…and when Celestyn found himself caught in the web of his parents’ and his siblings’ schemes, Salome would be the first to help him untangle it all.
Ultimately, Celestyn and Salome would fall in love and then claim lordship over House Stasiak after a lengthy battle against all of his siblings and his parents. They would have one child, Arsen, who would also become their killer.
